ITINERARY
Day 1 Marrakech - Dades Gorges
In the morning, we pick you up from your riad and head towards the High Atlas Mountains. We cross the Tizin Tichko Pass with Spare 2.260 m. We make photo stops and breaks to explore the landscape of the Atlas region.
We wait the famous and well-preserved Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Kasbah rom the 17th century is the backdrop of numerous Hollywood films.
The journey continues to Ouarzazate, where there are some active film studios. We stop for Lunch in Ouarzazate and then continue to Dodes. Our journey resumes and takes us on to the Valley of Dades, travelling through magnificent oases of palm trees and spectacular kasbahs. Drive via Berber town Kelaa M'Gouna which known for tens of roses. We spend our first night in a lovely rod/hotel in Dodes Gorges
Day 2: From Dades Gorges to Zagora & M’Hamid (Luxury Stay in a Desert Camp)
A Magical Morning in the Atlas Mountains...
After breakfast in the hotel, we visit Dades Gorges and strange rocks known as "Monkeys footprints" before we continue on our journey to the spectacular Todra gorges. After a short walk through the gorges, The road leads to Zagora, we continue our journey to the Draa Valley. Later and after 3 hours of driving, we get to Zagora as the last big city before the desert with thousands of date palms Lunch break in this city. Afterwards, we continue to Arrival at the Golden Gateway – M’Hamid
Following our rest, we head toward M’Hamid El Ghizlane, traveling through scenic roads that weave between quaint desert villages and natural palm groves—where endless sands blend with the simplicity of authentic desert life.
As sunset approaches, we reach our luxury desert camp, where elegant, fully equipped tents await—or if you wish, you may sleep under a sky glittering with stars.
The evening concludes with a traditional Moroccan dinner in an atmosphere of warmth and serenity, followed by deep relaxation in the heart of the golden dunes.
DAY 3 - Walk to Sidi Naji marabout and nomadic bivouac under the stars
After breakfast, meet your desert guides & camel caravan when the camels are loaded with your luggage / equipment. Your guides will also help you to wrap your turban, ideal protection in the desert. after The trek begins on foot from the fixed bivouac. Accompanied by a camel caravan and a Bedouin team, the crew begins its journey in the desert towards Sidi Naji(By the way, sidi Naji is my great-grandfather) , where a famous marabout (the shrine of a holy man) lived more than a century ago. The landscape takes place, from scattered dunes to tamarisk groves.
Discover the organization of Bedouin life, the wood collected for the fire, the establishment of camp and the softness of the sunset, After setting up camp there, we will spend the evening around the fire, to the sound of nomadic songs.
Day 4: From Sidi Naji to Erg Ezzmaila
A Day of Silence, Sand & Stars
Wake up to a peaceful breakfast in the open air, surrounded by golden dunes.
We continue our journey toward the serene beauty of Erg Ezzmaila, with a short break along the way.
By afternoon, we set up camp in a stunning desert spot— in your private oasis of peace and silence.
Enjoy lunch, and then unwind as you wish.
As the sun begins to set, join a charming sunset tea ceremony, while the caravan chef prepares a delicious Moroccan tagine for dinner.
Spend the night in a cozy tent—or sleep beneath the stars in the heart of the Sahara
The caravan sets out across vast waves of golden sand toward the majestic Erg Zahar, known as the "Dune of Silence." large area with many sand dunes and we head towards the sea of sand named Erg Zahar
After a peaceful lunch break, prepare to climb one of the highest dunes in Morocco, where a breathtaking sunset awaits.
End the day with a traditional dinner by the campfire, under a sky full of stars.
DAY 6 - Return by 4x4 to the fixed bivouac and transfer to the departure city
After breakfast in the dunes while the sun rises, we will leave the camels and it is already the return to the fixed bivouac in 4×4. We take the road to Marrakech with a vehicle from sahara nomadic travel. Lunch in Ouarzazate and arrival in Marrakech in the late evening
